Break a Leg for Buffett!

		I fell down in Cincinnati A broken leg while the MAN played "Fins"! I had tickets owned for both of Buffett's shows, But these brittle bones didn't bend. And now I feel like screamin' loudly, 'Cause I'll miss the show on Saturday night, With surgery on the slate, and it just can't wait, This Parrot Head ain't feelin' right. (chorus) I can feel I'm losin 'em honey, Feel those tickets slippin' away! With a crutch on the left, a crutch on the right, I say goodbye to Jimmy's show Saturday. (Yes! It's a true story. Yes, unfortunately that's exactly how it happened. Even more unfortunate for me is that I wasn't in the "land of Margaritaville". At least I could have been a little bit numb to the pain! Did I learn my lesson? Heck No!! I've got my tickets for the Buffett - 2000 shows and I can't wait!! I just think that this time I'll STAY OFF THE GRASS! You do realize I'm talking about the lawn area right? That's how I fell. Slipped in the mud while out walking around to check out my crazy parrot head comrades. I tried to get the paramedics to wheel me around backstage to get an autograph before I had to leave for the hospital. But NO! I still think I'd earned it!

Ah well. Such is a parrot head's life. What can I say? "I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead"!
